The journal publishes original articles, reviews, brief communications, reviews of new books, and information about conferences. Its purpose is to cover the physical, physiological, morphological, and informational aspects of the structure and function of biological and technical sensory systems, the principles of representing and processing information from the surrounding world and reconstructing its content, and the algorithms for the operation of automatic sensory information analysis systems to control devices that replace humans in various fields of activity.
